New Office Space

Space Database will be moving in 2012!  We love the building we're in, the Toronto Carpet Factory, but the time has come to buy a place of our own.  Commercial office condos are not that common in downtown Toronto, but we found one at 477 Richmond.  The new space is very different from what we have now.  It'll be a glass box in the sky rather than a brick and beam factory space from the 1880's. 

As you can see, I took a couple of panoramas with my iphone.  I took one other one that somehow confused the software.  I'm including it here because I think it's really quite lovely:

It turns our new office  into a strange 4D mobius strip of space.  I'd never be able to generate such an interesting collage if I tried. Creativity through a software glitch!

As excited as we are about the new space, we'll be sad to leave the Carpet Factory.  We’ve been here since 1993 and we've moved all over the building:  Suite 131, Suite 402, Suite 301 and now Suite 446.  The Carpet Factory is a beautiful building with a great community of tenants.  Our landlord, York Heritage Properties have been consistently excellent over the years.  They are warm and friendly and do a great job of looking after both buildings and tenants. We feel guilty moving away!
