Tru-Measure Availability Reports

Available space in a commercial real estate portfolio is constantly changing. Printed lists or PDF files won't be up-to-date for long. To address this problem, Space Database has developed an integrated availability reporting solution. Availability data hosted on our Tru-Measure system can instantly update stacking plans and vacancy lists on multiple websites and web resources.

Information is managed centrally through our web application. It can be displayed in any number of layouts and it can be rendered in any format imaginable.

Here, for example, is availability data for a building in Toronto. First, we have availability data displayed as a table list and as a stacking plan on pages in the landlord's website at www.morguard.com:

This same content is also displayed on a set of web-pages formatted for smart phones. These mini websites contain basic building information including a building description, map location, stacking plan as well as an availability report with built in email functionality that allows for further distribution of specific suite
availabilities:

All the report content is managed from within the Tru-Measure application. This is part of the same intuitive and easy-to-use interface that is used for drawing and area management. You can control all your various availability reports across an entire portfolio from one place - and updates are instant:

We have many other examples of availability report formatting and integration. We work closely with our clients and their web designers to provide solutions tailored to specific needs:

Update to Mobile Marketing Sites

As I described in an earlier post, we have created and continue to refine a solution for bringing Space Database availability and marketing data to smart phones. We've done this by creating 'miniature' websites that are formatted for small screens and are easy to interact with.

We have dispensed with CSS layouts, JavaScript and Flash. We were linking to our standard marketing PDF files and this was working well. But then, some clients reported that these would only display as blank pages on some BlackBerries. After a recent upgrade on our server, the same thing happened to us. It turns out that the way that the BlackBerry service interpret and 'distills' PDF files now removes the drawing information on linked PDFs (BB still display PDF drawings sent as attachments).

It used to work, but then it didn't...

But we've fixed it! We've now altered the service to automatically deliver .jpg versions of the marketing drawings. This now makes the site function of the simplest devices and browsers.
